Abstract

The article looks at the higher education and higher labor force participation in Minnesota. It highlights estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey in 2011, which lists Minnesota as the fourth highest labor force participation in the country. Furthermore, it shows the willingness and availability of the residents in the state to work, with 70.8 percent labor force participation for people aged 25 years and over.
