The authors reflect on forming research networks. The authors say that inefficiencies exist when researchers dealt in the same research, without realising that other groups in Australia work in the same area. They state centralisation of coordination and accumulation of data will allow clinical trials to be performed efficiently. They mention the roles of a research network, which include promoting of a research culture, addition value to clinical trials, and biostatistical support.
