Abstract
- The article reports on the launch of a public investment and reform program by the Gabon government to transform the country into a diversified emerging market economy by 2025. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) suggested the efficient use of oil and mineral resources to support inclusive economic growth. The country's real gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to increase in 2012 because of rising public investment.
