Abstract

For many years, titanium has been used as the main biomaterials in dental implant and despite the high success rate of its surgery, there have been still reports of failure due to inadequate bonding of titanium implant metal with surrounding bone. Hence, many researches have been carried out to solve this problem, often by modifying the surface of the titanium to improve its property such as wettability. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
