Abstract
- The article reflects on increasing trend among Indian publishing industry to use digital media particularly the smartphone as the main platform for digital reading. It mentions that increasing popularity of smartphones among the Indian youth has led the publishing as well as software industry to develop new software that enable them read books on their phone easily. It informs that in an effort, the Indian online retailer Flipkart.Com has launched an Android application, "Flyte" for e-books.
