An Investigation of Special Collections Library Theft.

Library theft has been a problem for many academic libraries and has involved various types of resources, including special collections resources. The theft of special collections resources is a serious problem that needs to be dealt with. The purpose of this article is to provide the results of a survey regarding library theft in the special collections areas of academic libraries in the United States.
