Abstract

The article discusses the impact of international crisis in China. It states that the export led growth model has allowed China to insert itself into the world production system, however, it has brought to excessive unbalances of the economy coupled with protectionist control of financial markets, repressed domestic consumption and excessive saving accumulation. Moreover, the rising costs in labour and commodities are speedily worsening the term of trade and the current trade is also declining.
