Abstract
- The article offers information on several heat and drought-tolerant trees from the selection and breeding program of J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co. led by Keith Warren. It says that the company is always looking for trees that can evolve in extreme climates including dry, hot, and cold climates. Moreover, it presents the tree species which are said to be the future relief from heat and drought including Emerald Avenue hornbeam, Crimson Sunset maple, and Crimson Spire oak.
