Maximal Surface Tension: Very Large Organizations and Their Apotheosis in Songdo.

The article discusses how surface tension acts on regional and planetary scales under the impact of things such as business flight times and undersea cables within the context of new urban developments like Songlo, Korea. It proposes the use of the term Very Large Organizations (VLOS) to describe contemporary institutional assemblages at a time when the built environments of work are increasingly part of global financial and communications networks.
