Abstract

The article reports a study which investigated the efficacy and safety of hyaluronic acid (HA)-impregnated gauze pad compared with a hydrocolloid (HC) dressing in patients with venous leg ulcer (VLUs) or other ulcers. The results supported the non-inferiority of the HA gauze pad compared with HC for the primary endpoint. It is concluded that the study supports non-inferiority of the HA gauze pad as compared with HC for the primary endpoint.
