Abstract

In this paper, a mathematical model of Hepatitis C virus with saturation incidence rate has been considered. It is a system of ordinary differential equations with four state variables. If basic reproduction number, R<subscript>0</subscript> < 1, disease free equilibrium point is globally stable and endemic equilibrium point does not exist. If R<subscript>0</subscript> > 1, endemic equilibrium point exist and locally asymptotically stable. Numerically, the model succeeded in showing the dynamic behavior of HCV as seen in patients.
