Abstract: The article focuses on basketball player Rajon Rondo, a point guard for the Boston Celtics team in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Rondo's 2012-2013 season, in which he led the NBA in assists before suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in January, 2013 which ended his season, is discussed. Rondo's extremely competitive personality is considered, particularly how it has affected his relationship with coach Doc Rivers and teammate Kevin Garnett.
