Abstract

The article discusses a study which examined the prevalence of various packaging tactics, documented their use across products that vary in nutritional makeup and identified key issues for policy makers. The study conducted a content analysis to examine fun factors included on packages and how children could interact with the packages. Findings suggested that marketers are using a variety of fun factors in packaging and also included tactile ways to interact with the product.
