Abstract
- Information about the African-Americans in the U.S. from a data released by the U.S. Census Bureau (USCB) on the occasion of Black History Month is presented. The data reveals that population of African-Americans is 43.9 million with a rate of 82.5 percent high school graduates and 28.2 percent of employment rate. The Black History Month was established by American historian Carter G. Woodson to celebrate African-Americans' contributions to the nation.
