Abstract
- The article focuses on the persistent use of papers in government offices in India. Alok Bharadwaj, senior vice president at Canon India states that the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) contributes around 30% by its value and 40% by units to the printing economy. Moreover, Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal says that they are conceiving paperless government having an electronic services (e-services) to reduce the use of papers, being wasted in government offices.
