Abstract
- In this article, the author discusses the consequences of shareholder litigations that are filed regarding the violation of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) by international business enterprises. It informs that shareholders can impose securities fraud class action lawsuits on organizations which are violation FCPA. It states that FCPA-based collateral shareholder litigation contributes in the federalization of the law and also increase the use of compliance programs by organizations.
