Abstract
- The author describes his experience of working in the Department of Neurology, Hospital Universitario Antonio Pedro, Niteroi as part of an exchange programme. He mentions that the trip to Brazil provided him an opportunity to compare two different health systems, of Great Britain and Brazil. He states that healthcare is free but the state will not pay for certain drugs, continuity of care and team work are much more in evident in Brazil than in the Great Britain.
