Elinor Ostrom: "A Magnificent and Irreplaceable Treasure".

The article presents information on the contribution made by Elinor Ostrom, Professor at Indiana University, to the field of economics. In 2009, Ostrom was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. She grew up in Los Angeles, California, and received her degrees in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
