Abstract

The article discusses the developments in the corporate bond market in Europe. It cites the 600 million euro five year bond issue launched by defence contractor Finmeccanica, as well as the 5.5 billion euros of orders attracted by gaming firm Lottomatica from its bond issue. The lead arrangers of the Lottomatica deal include Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and UniCredit.
