Abstract
- The article offers the authors' insights on a study which shows that T helper 17 (T<subscript>H</subscript>17) cells exist at the maternal-fetal interface in natural allogenic pregnancies. The authors state that natural killer (NK) cells encourage successful pregnancy and immune tolerance. They cite the accumulation of NK cells as the most significant feature of maternal-fetal interface.
