Abstract
- The article offers information on a study by the Kansas State University's Beef Cattle Institute in Manhattan, Kansas according to which, feedlots are handling cattle in a better way to ensure beef safety. It informs that the aim of the study was to use a new Feedlot Beef Quality Assessment tool developed by veterinarians, animal scientists and producers. The tool helps in assessing cattle handling, antibiotic residue avoidance, and employee training.
