Abstract

The author discusses how he assembled the 1957 TCM C90-8 engine of an experimental aircraft. He details the process of removing the engine from the aircraft, disassembling the engine components and assembling the parts. He emphasizes the need of using proper methods in cleaning the parts of an aircraft to avoid any harm before the inspection. He explains the importance of following the manufacturer's recommendations in order for the engine to last to time between overhaul (TBO).
