Promotion of the efficient metabolic maturation of human pluripotent stem cell-derived hepatocytes by correcting specification defects.

The article discusses a research related to the promotion of metabolic maturation of hepatocytes derived from pluripotent stem cells by correction of specification defects. Use of various methods including quantitative polymerase chain chain (PCR) analysis, immunostaining and pharmacological assays are discussed. It is mentioned that the findings of the study helps to attain information transcriptional regulation of hepatocytes in processes including maturation and specification.
