Abstract
- The article discusses the U.S., Great Britain, and European Union initiatives in order to prevent convicted sex offenders from having access to children. It states that persons convicted of children's sexual abuse and violent offenses should be disallowed from working with children. It mentions that US states laws have required employers to do criminal background checks for employment positions that have access to children.
