Abstract
- The article presents a study which examines the accuracy of iron pipe corrosion as a simulation model for a water supply network. The study conducts test rig experiments for the water treatment plants (WTP) of Riga City in Latvia to measure the average corrosion rates. Results show positive correlation for underground source water between corrosion rate on pipe wall inner surface and the flow velocity.
