Abstract
- The article discusses a study on the experimental and system design used in a 39-year record of continuous atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO<subscript>2</subscript>) observations in Barring Head, New Zealand. It describes the system design including CO<subscript>2</subscript> analyser, air inlet system, and calibration gases. It notes that the compatibility of CO<subscript>2</subscript> was 0.3 parts per million better with respect to the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO).
