Abstract
- The article discusses a study to evaluate the impact of prosperity as seen in Great Britain between 1998-2007 in greater life expectancy as well as implications for health inequalities. Participants included residents of 324 local authorities. The findings revealed that those local authorities that witnessed improvements in prosperity had greater life expectancy, while health inequalities ended up growing wider and wider.
