Abstract
- The article presents information about Post-Medieval archaeological excavations and fieldwork undertaken in 2011 in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Isles. Some of the excavations considered include structures of English Civil War fortifications dating from the early 1640s in Bristol, a 19th century subterranean cistern near the Tithe Barn in Shirehampton, and an artificial landscape feature from the 18th century believed to be part of the gardens of Denham Court in Buckinghamshire.
