Abstract
- The article focuses on the news flow from Middle East to Sweden in the fall of 1972. It states that the guessed average proportion in Swedish newspaper of its foreign news of the news hole is 20%. It mentions that the Sweddish news followed the assassination news of the Jordan's prime minister in Cairo, Egypt. It says that the national newspaper has dedicated 7% of its foreign news to the Middle East, but 12% during the assassination's week. Moreover, the assassination in the Middle East has caused the interest to be doubled or tripled.
