Abstract

The article reports on the study that develops two correction approaches for the row anomaly effects in the northern latitudes and along the full orbit. It states that the approaches aimed at imrpoving global measurements of atmospheric sulfur dioxide from the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI). It indicates that the consistencies among the sulfur columns inside and outside the row anomaly areas have demonstrated the effectiveness of the correction approaches under row anomaly conditions.
