Postavení a užívání interjekcí v současné češtině.

In this paper we study the use of interjections in various types of written texts (professional, non-fiction, journalistic, fiction and written dialogical texts on the internet) and in dialogical speech. Investigating the use of interjections in written texts, we drew upon corpora SYN2000, SYN2005 and SYN2006PUB, and further we utilized our own excerptions and experiences with written texts. In examining spoken language, we extracted data from the Czech National Corpus and we excerpted some TV discussions, talk shows and everyday spoken speech. We focused on a frequency of interjections in a text type, on preferred idioms and their classes. In the conclusion of the paper, we compare our results to the information provided in Czech dictionaries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
