Abstract

The article discusses an integrative review, evaluating Great Britain's and U.S. perspective on establishing hospice care for prison populations. Literature was cited from several online databases such as web of knowledge, social care online, and pubmed. The findings stated different issues regarding implementation of palliative care services within prison environment and mentions the difference between the U.S. in-house hospice care, while Great Britain's emphasis on palliative care in-reach.
