Abstract

The article discusses the steps in harvesting drying, and storing herbs, flowers, and spices. It explains that washing the plant with clean water is needed prior to collecting large quantities of material for drying in order to wash off any accumulated dust and debris. It states that undamaged flower parts must be separated and leaves of herbs must be allowed to naturally air-dry and be exposed directly to sunlight to completely dehydrate before storing in clean, sealed glass containers.
