Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 60-year-old man who underwent a hybrid endoscopic therapy for intramucosal Barrett's cancer. He had three subsequent sessions with focal endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) of the lesions and radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of the Barrett's esophagus section. He developed a neosquamous epithelium without apparent Barrett's esophagus. An endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) showed a gastrohepatic lymph node diagnosed as metastatic adenocarcinoma with a squamous mucosa.
