YUAN BLUE-AND-WHITE PORCELAIN: New Insights from Chinese Scholars.

The article examines the history of blue-and-white porcelain objects that were produced in China during the Yuan dynasty (1271-1368). Particular focus is given to discoveries that have been made in the research of these porcelains in the late 20th century and early 21st century. Additional topics examined include insights on the Yanyou type of porcelain, the artistic techniques used on pottery of this time period and the themes and imagery present in these works.
