CHEMTREC, China agency sign MOU to improve international hazmat emergency response.

The article reports on the memorandum of understanding between Chemtrec and the National Registration Center for Chemicals of China designed to make the organizations more effective in responding to hazardous materials incidents in China. According to Chemtrec managing director Randy Speight, companies that transport hazardous materials within China and between China and other locations will receive benefits when registered with both organizations. The agreement became effective in August 2012.
