Abstract
- The article presents a feasibility study which evaluates the efficiency of a Travelling Comparison Instrument (TCI) for continuous atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO<subscript>2</subscript>) and methane (CH<subscript>4</subscript>) measurements at two European Integrated Carbon Observation System (ICOS) field stations. The study uses the Heidelberg gas chromatographic system. Results show proposal of a comprehensive quality management strategy for atmospheric monitoring networks.
