Abstract

The article highlights the most successful eyecare campaigns in crowdfunding which is aimed at showing the industry how the initiatives were structured and achieved. Included in the successful optical crowdfunders are Kickstarter for its Sunski Sunglasses which attained 157,067 dollars from a goal of 9,800 dollars for 30 days, and Indiegogo for its blenders eyewear which attained 7,095 dollars from a goal of 5,000 dollars for 30 days.
