Abstract
- The article focuses on various aspects of the Chinese patent system for copyright-like features, and reflects on the implications of a copyrights-tinted patent system. It discusses concerns related to copyright piracy and trademark counterfeiting in the intellectual property (IP) regime of China. It presents information on several court cases, including the U.S. federal Court case Association for Molecular Pathology v. United States Patent and Trademark Office, involving patentability claims.
