POVIJESNO NASLJEĐE I KULTURNI IDENTITET U PRIVATNOJ KORESPODENCIJI IVANA LUČIĆA TROGIRANINA.

The article examines the perceptions and attitudes of historian Ivan Lučiƈ Trogiranin on his own ethnic/cultural community expressed in his letters set to the homeland from Rome. It explores his auto-perception with regard to thematic and content aspect of the letters, their social and occasional function. Specific relationship between the factual state and conventions in his private letters, qualities that are assigned traditionally to epistolography is also discussed.
