Abstract
- The article reports that Northrop Grumman Corp. wants the U.S. Air Force to release, imminently, a draft request for proposals (RFP) for its F-16 radar upgrade program. Northrop Grumman and Raytheon Co. are bidding for the Air Force's program to upgrade its F-16 jet plane fleet with Advanced Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars. It is mentioned that Northrop Grumman is offering its Scalable Agile Beam Radar (SABR), whereas Raytheon is offering its Raytheon Advanced Combat Radar (RACR).
