Abstract

The fatigue crack growth in single edge-notched specimens made of steel 25Kh1M1F has been investigated at a stress ratio of R = 0 and under controlled loading force. The influence of the loading frequency (0.1 and 1.0 Hz) on the crack growth rate has been estimated. The crack resistance of the bimaterial 25Kh1M1F/15Kh13MF as well as the influence of elastic and plastic properties on the nature of the fatigue crack growth have been investigated.
