Abstract

The aim of a software engineering discipline is to provide a reliable and quality software product. Its quality usually depends on several aspects that continuously change during the software's evolution. One of the aspects is a change in the source code structure. Inherently, such changes influence code quality and can thus affect a number of bugs in a software product. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to analyze the correlation between structural source code changes, made between software's versions, and the number of bugs. The results show that some structural changes have a moderate correlation with bugs in a software product. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
