Abstract
- The article discusses research on the inhibition of licensed natural killer (NK) cells. It references the study "Unlicensed NK cells target neuroblasma following anti-GD2 antibody treatment," by N. Tarek in the August 6, 2012 issue of "Journal of Clinical Investigation." It states that the unlicensed NK cells in patients with missing killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIR) ligand are crucial mediators of antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC).
