Abstract
- A literary criticism of the books "En Attendant Godot/ Waiting for Godot," "Krapp's Last Tape/La Derniere Bande," and "Not One/Pas M" by Samuel Beckett. It examines the issues of self-translation and minimalism in these books. It attempts to determine how Beckett's voluntary effacement can be understood as a form of theatrical translation comparable to, and indicative of, its linguistic counterpart.
