Abstract

The importance of including precordial leads in evaluating donor atrial activity and QRS voltage variations after cardiac allotransplantation in puppies was established. Double atrial activity appeared early and consistently post-operatively. Reduced maximal QRS vector was a sign of rejection. Earlier rejection signs included sinus bradycardia, transient sinus arrest, and nodal rhythm. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
