Spinning threads.

The author discusses the application of threads in the publication of researches in "Nature" journal that discusses results of the Encyclopedia of DNA Elements (ENCODE) consortium. It states that threads that were used in the publication allows readers to combine paragraphs, figures, and tables that will be of particular interest to them. It adds the virtual machine which was integrated to allow readers access software that could perform set computational functions on the data from ENCODE.
