Abstract
- The article reports on problems caused by the spread of drought in the U.S. The World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates for U.S. feed grain supplies predicts lower corn production, seed feed shortages and high grain prices. It is reported that water quality is also a concern because of nitrates, sulfates and total dissolved solids that create potential health issues for livestock.
