STRATEGIES OF THE QUALITY OF LOCAL POLICE PUBLIC SERVICE IN THE MUNICIPALITIES FROM ROMANIA'S WESTERN REGION BASED ON MARKETING RESEARCH.

The paper presents several strategies to increase the performance and quality of local police public service. In this respect a case study was conducted from which only the questions pertaining to the service quality were extracted and processed. The study highlighted the views of citizens on the assessment of service characteristics, the existence of corruption and abuse of office and local police behaviour in relation to citizens. The proposed strategies are focused on the staff involved in services providing, and the personnel members participated actively in its implementation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
