First record of marlin sucker, Remora Osteochir (Cuvier, 1829), from the northeastern Aegean Sea, Turkey.

Single specimen of marlin sucker Remora osteochir (Cuvier, 1829) was captured during a commercial lift net operation in Ece Limani, Aegean Sea, Turkey. This is the first documented record of the species from northeastern Aegean Sea, Turkey. A short description of some morphological features of the specimen is provided, probable host of the specimen and species' range in the Mediterranean are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
